Registration open for Admission for Class XI
 
Dear Parents,

 “The great thing in the world is not knowing so much where we stand, as in what direction we are moving” Moving ahead from class X to class XI embarks a period of transition in a student’s life where he needs to know his direction so he/she moves ahead with steadfastness and conviction. As the students studying in class X stand on this threshold, we wish to intimate you that regular classes for students of class XI will commence w.e.f April 4, 2013.

  • Students performance in SA-I will be the criteria for admission.
  • Merit will be the sole criteria for allotment of streams.
  • Admission to class XI will be provisional.

 Dates for Registration:      15th to 25th January 2013

Students seeking admission to class XI must submit a photocopy of the result of Summative Assessment-1 along with the registration Form.
Students enrolling for admission to class XI can opt for the following streams as per merit:-
                            Non –Medical / Medical / Commerce / Humanities/ Hospitality and Tourism.
Allotment of streams will be on the basis of following criteria-
Science stream             a) CGPA-9 and above in aggregate of all the subjects in SA-1
                                       b) CGPA-9 and above in English, Maths and Sc. & Tech. in SA-1

Commerce Stream       CGPA-8 and above in aggregate of all subjects in SA-1

Humanities:                  CGPA-8 and above in aggregate of all subjects in SA-1 and
                                    Grade point 8 in Maths if opting for Maths.

Hospitality and Tourism (Vocational Stream) Food Production/Food & Beverage Services
CGPA- 8 and above. Grade point 8 in Maths if opting for Maths.
Students opting for the Vocational stream ‘Hospitality and Tourism’ will be required to study the following courses: (Any One)

Course I:

  • English(core)
  • Food production I (Code No.-734)
  • Food Production II(Code No.-735)
  • Economics or B. Studies.

One optional subject: Mathematics/Physical Education/Fashion Studies/ Painting.

Course II:

  • English (core)
  • Food Service I (Code No. 736)
  • Beverage Service I (Code No. 737)
  • Economics or B. Studies.

One Optional Subject: Mathematics/Physical Education/Fashion Studies/ Painting.

Students passing out with this course will be awarded joint certificate by CBSE and NCHMCT (National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology under Ministry of Tourism)
The course will have an added advantage in entrance examinations for Degree/Diploma courses in Hotel Management in the Institutions of Hotel Management.

Note:-The School is already affiliated for this vocational stream with CBSE and is equipped with the desired   infrastructure and faculty.

The vocational stream will be allotted only if there are minimum of 10 students opting for the course.

Please note:   Registration is a pre –condition for admission. It does not guarantee admission. Admission will               be based on Entrance Test and Interaction session for students other than BBMS/BBPS, Sec-10.

Quarterly fee for months of April, May & June 2013 must be deposited in the school’s Accounts Office. Payment only in cash /DD will be accepted.
This admission shall be provisional which will be confirmed only after the declaration of Board results. Students must contact the school Office just after declaration of Board result and get their admission confirmed within a week of declaration of result.

ADMISSION
 
The intake points for admission are classes III and XI depending upon the number of seats in respective classes. Vacancies in the other classes are limited and are filled as and when vacancies arise.

Students seeking admission to class III should be 7 years and 6 months of age on 1st April, of the year in which admission is sought.

Admission is granted only after the students qualify the Entrance Test and Intercative session and is subjected to the availability of seats.

Students only from C.B.S.E., I.C.S.E. or State Board recognized school shall be registered for Classes III to XI.

For admission to Classes III to XI Report Card and Original Transfer Certificate from school last attended must be furnished.

Parents, who are unable to produce the TC and Report Card from their previous school immediately after declaration of the result of the present class, must give an undertaking of assurance to deposit TC and Report Card from their previous school immediately after declaration of the result or at the time of joining of school.

Only those students will be considered for admission who submits a TC and Report Card with the remark "passed" or "promoted" to class for which they are being tested.

In case the transfer is from another state, Inter State Transfer Certificate duly countersigned by Chairman CBSE / Education officer of the area student is transferring from, must be submitted.

TC and Report Card should be submitted in original. In case the candidate fails to submit TC and Report Card within 15 days from the declaration of result from the previous school, his or her admission will be cancelled.

Candidates seeking admission to class XI must submit attested photocopy of Mark List from the Board for Class X. The copy must be attested by the Principal of the school last attended.

Regular classes for students of class XI will commence in the month of April alongwith the commencement of the new academic session.

A counselling session for the benefit of the students of class X shall be organized to help them select their stream. It shall be mandatory for all students seeking admission to class XI to attend the counselling session.

Registration for Class XI will be done in the month of March. Merit will be the sole criteria for admission & allocation of streams.

Migration Certificate must be furnished in case the Board is other than CBSE.

In case a candidate has been admitted and the fee paid, thereafter the withdrawal of the student is sought, then only the Caution Money & Library Security shall be refunded even if the student has not attended school for a single day. Parents can claim the refund of caution money and library security only if the original receipt is produced. In case the original receipt is lost an affidavit from the First Class Magistrate must be submitted.

WITHDRAWAL
 
   
Notice in writing for withdrawal of a student from the school must be given one month in advance, before 10th of the month or one month's fee shall be charged in lieu of the notice period.

The parents, who want to withdraw their ward after the final result is declared, must inform school authorities by the last working day of February of the current session; otherwise he/ she will have to pay full amount of dues in next session including all the dues & tuition fee for the month of April.

REGISTRATION DETAILS
 
Registration is a precondition for admission.

Registration does not guarantee admission.

Registration fee is inclusive of the Prospectus fee.

Registration fee is neither refundable nor transferable.

Students only from C.B.S.E., I.C.S.E. or State Board recognized school shall be registered for Classes III to XI.

 
Provision for EWS
 
The school has been serving the cause of EWS through Bridge classes running in the school for the past many years. The same has now been switched over under RTE thereby admitting students on the basis of the received guidelines. Apart from providing free education to these students by running regular classes, the school also provides them with free uniform, books, stationery and tiffins. All the resources of the school are also being utilized for EWS at par with other students.
